1970s Primitive Carved Wood Mushroom Stools - a Pair
Description
Pair vintage hand carved wood mushroom stools. Each is hewn from a single piece of very hard and heavy wood, not sure exactly what type of tree. As one can see in the pictures, each is carved from a tree trunk and the age rings are visible if looked at from above. Both have been given a thick coat of lacquer or varathane. The clear finish is very thick and hard, especially on the tops. Both are in excellent condition with very minor blemishes on the finish. Both are level at the top, the photos are misleading in that regard. Dimensions are somewhat uneven, but approximate diameter of both is 11 inches, and height is 17 inches
